Obviously the 'save the date' cards will be required months in advance whereas the 'orders of service', 'table plans' and 'menus' etc will not be required until much nearer the big day itself. More information on the recommended timeframes can be found on the faq's section of the site.
Our aim is to provide a personal service tailored to your needs and therefore we will deliver all components of your order when you need them. To reduce delivery costs the 'save the date' cards and invites are normally sent together as one batch 6-12 months prior to the wedding day, with a second delivery occurring 1-2 months prior to the wedding with 'orders of service', 'table plans', 'place-cards', 'menus' etc. However, do not worry, we appreciate that every wedding is different and when you place your order we will discuss timings and come to an arrangement which fits in with your individual timetable.
All wedding stationery is dispatched via Royal Mail's Special Delivery. All our stationery is packed in boxes and adequately protected, or in the case of individual cards/invites packed in envelopes with protective wrapping. Royal Mail Special Delivery post has a guaranteed next working day (Mon-Fri) delivery.
Please note that maddoxdesigns shall not be responsible where any failure or delay in delivery is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to Acts of God, fires, strikes, and failure of suppliers or distribution partners (including Royal Mail).
You are required to advise us at the time of your order if you require delivery by special courier. maddoxdesigns will be more than happy to arrange this, although the additional cost will be payable by you (approx £20).
Our postage costs are as follows (cost per delivery):
Royal Mail Special Delivery - standard charge of £8.95
bespoke designs
The despatch date for all bespoke designs will be discussed prior to the order being accepted. The postage costs for all bespoke designs is the same as for wedding stationery (see above).
greetings cards
All greetings cards orders will be dispatched via first class post within 24 hours of payment clearing.
The
price of the greeting card packs includes full postage and package costs.
