What are the
payment terms?
When
should I send day invitations to my guests?
From our experience wedding invitations are normally sent out to guests
between 8 to 12 weeks before your Wedding Day, giving enough time for
guests
to RSVP to you. If your wedding is at a busy time of year, e.g. July and
August when your guests may be away on holiday, or if your guests have
far to travel, then invites should be sent out at least 12 weeks prior.
How long before my wedding should I order my Wedding Stationery?
Our genuinely handmade stationery takes around six to ten weeks to assemble
depending on the size of your wedding. Therefore you should decide how
many weeks prior to the wedding you are going to send your invitations
and then add six to ten weeks to this figure - the result tells you how
many weeks prior to the wedding you should place the order for your stationery.
Is it okay if I have not finalised
the guest list yet?
The finalised guest details (for printing of personalised
invitation card inserts) are required a minimum of 21 days before maddoxdesigns
are due to deliver the completed invitations to you. To ensure no guests
are left without invitations most of our clients do order a few extra
invitations. We would advise using your own judgement and, if necessary,
ordering a few extra non-personalised invitations.
I have not finalised the Menu or
Order of Service details yet, is this a problem?
Definitely not! We realise that it is almost impossible to have these
details 100% finalised at such an early stage. It is possible to delay
the delivery of wedding day stationery (such as menus, Order of Service
cards and Place cards) until closer to the date of the wedding. However,
in order to ensure your delivery date is met it is important that you
send the finalised details to us on the date agreed when you placed your
order.
I would like to give my guests even
more notice about my wedding - is this possible?
This is possible using 'save the date' cards which are sent to potential
wedding guests as soon as the wedding venue and date is finalised. For

How many invites do I order?
Although you may have 100 guests, you will not need 100 invites because
you can invite more than 1 person on 1 invitation. It is always recommended
that you order a few extra to cover for any unexpected extras, or even
the odd mistake when writing them.
Must
I order in multiples of 5 or 10?
No, you may order any quantity you like, however please bear in mind the
delivery charges. Therefore it is more efficient to order a few more blank
invites than to re-order another 1-2 at a later date.
Do you print the guests names on
the invitation inserts?
Yes, we can type your guests names onto the invites at a cost of 20p per
item. The wording is your choice but if you need any help or hints please
do not hesitate to ask - we have provided some examples on our wording
page.
Are envelopes and insert pages included
in the price?
For all our invitations, order of service, reply cards and thank you card
designs the price includes an envelope. The order of service price includes
1 insert which allows for 4 sides of type, however if required, a further
4 sides can be purchased for an additional £0.40.
Can you change the invitation colours to match our day?
We have a selection of beautiful designs which are available in a variety
of colours which will suit most wedding colour schemes. Please see our
wedding stationery pages for further
information and photographs of existing designs. Wherever possible we
will endeavour to change the colours on the invitation designs to match
the colours of your day, in this case this will be provided through our
bespoke design service.
How do I pay?
We accept payment via PayPal where you can use your debit card, credit
card or bank account, you do not need to have a PayPal account (although
you will be required to register with the site - this is necessary to
ensure your details are securely processed).
We also accept payment by cheque, please make all cheques payable to maddoxdesigns.

Is there a minimum order?
At maddoxdesigns no order is too small, you are a valued
customer and we do not believe it fair to refuse orders of small quantities.

How will maddoxdesigns
package and deliver my Wedding Stationery to me?
Your stationery will be posted by Royal Mail Special Delivery (you will
need to sign for it). If we have all the details available then all stationery
will be mailed at the same time, otherwise, wedding day stationery will
be sent at extra charge just before the wedding.
Does the price of invitations include
the cost of postage to my guests?
No, our delivery cost is the cost required to deliver the goods to you.
If I require stationery items which
are not mentioned on your price list, can maddoxdesigns provide them?
Please see the bespoke designs pages
for details of other stationery items which can be supplied. An example
of some of the items our customers have requested in the past are lottery
ticket holders (for favours), maps, other information sheets and disposable
camera tags. If you are unsure about any of our products or services,
